Job Overview:
Hands-on Data Architect with Integrations and large system migrations, Merger and Acquisition (M&A) experience (nice to have), responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of data assets from one system to another or different organizations during M&A activities. Lead data architecture and integration efforts to align data strategies with the organization’s business objectives, maintain data quality and enable data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration:
Lead data integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that data from different sources is efficiently consolidated, transformed, and loaded into the target systems.
Data Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that supports the organization’s business goals and aligns with its long-term vision. Special focus on ensuring scalability of integrations.
Data Architecture:
Design and maintain data architectures, including data models, data dictionaries, and data flows, to ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability. Maintain data flows for updates of integrations between business systems.
Data Transformation:
Oversee data transformation processes, including data cleansing, enrichment, and mapping, to ensure that data meets the required standards and is fit for analysis and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and data scientists, to understand data requirements and ensure that data solutions align with business needs. Able to communicate concepts and answer questions at all level.
Data Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data assets, including metadata, data lineage, and data transformation processes.

Data Governance:
Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to maintain data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
Data Warehouse Management:
Manage data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage solutions to optimize data storage and retrieval for analytical purposes.
Data Security:
Implement data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data assets and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize Time sensitive data integrations between systems.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and recommend third-party tools and technologies that enhance data management and integration capabilities.
