SAP EWM Consultant

A leading Big 4 consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant to join its team in Germany. This role involves implementing, configuring, and customizing SAP EWM solutions to meet clients' unique business needs. The consultant will help streamline warehouse operations, enhance inventory management, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and Configuration:

  • Design, configure, and customize SAP EWM modules to align with client requirements.
  • Develop and implement EWM processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, storage control, and physical inventory.

• Customization and Development:

  • Customize SAP EWM solutions to integrate with clients' existing SAP landscapes and third-party systems.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and coordinate with technical teams for development and testing.

• Consulting and Advisory:

  • Provide expert advice on best practices for warehouse management processes and SAP EWM implementation.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients and end-users on SAP EWM functionalities.

• Project Management:

  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

• Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of [1 1/2] years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and customization.
• Proven consulting experience, preferably within a Big 4 or similar consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM modules, including Warehouse Structure, Inbound and Outbound Processes, Inventory Management, and Integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD).
• B2 or higher German language fluency is required.
• Right to work in Germany.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Certification in SAP EWM is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP EWM.
• Knowledge of advanced technologies such as IoT, RFID, and barcode systems in warehouse management.
• Experience in managing and leading small to medium-sized teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic consulting environment.
