The consultancy approached us to fill 18 critical roles based in Germany to support their client projects. These roles required niche expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP-DS).

Our team leveraged traditional headhunting techniques to identify candidates with the niche SAP IBP expertise required. Our marketing function pulled together campaigns to highlight these roles' unique opportunities, targeting senior SAP consultants with relevant experience and language requirements.

Candidate Qualification 

The first call with each candidate focused on thoroughly assessing technical expertise and alignment with the hiring manager's requirements. Beyond technical skills, we evaluated soft skills, particularly their ability to handle client-facing situations and contribute to workshops, which would be essential attributes for these business-critical roles.

Streamlined Interview Process

We coordinated a two-stage interview process to balance speed with rigor. Following the first interview, candidates were presented with hypothetical scenarios to test their strategic thinking and practical application of SAP solutions. This allowed the client to assess both technical and soft skills comprehensively.

Offer Negotiation and Onboarding 

Once a candidate was selected, we facilitated offer presentations, negotiated rates, and managed onboarding logistics. For hybrid roles, we prepared candidates for remote and onsite meetings, including guidance on conducting themselves professionally in workshops.

Results

Uniting Enterprise has successfully onboarded 9 professionals specializing in SAP IBP on behalf of the client. Each team member brought substantial experience in SAP IBP, with a minimum of seven years' experience.
